  • How does this service work?

    When you place an order with us, you are placing an order to use our courier services to expedite your passport or visa application. We will hand carry your application, photos and supporting documentation to a passport agency office, embassy or consulate where we have been granted guaranteed daily availability.

  • What happens after I place an order on the website?

    Shortly after you sign up, we will contact you over the phone to confirm your order details and schedule your reservation in our system. At this time we will also send you a checklist and a prepaid, overnight FedEx label for you to print and use to send your documents to us (unless you choose to drop off your documents at one of our main or courier offices). If a FedEx label is provided, the address will depend on the service that you order and how fast you need the service done. We have offices in multiple cities and work with multiple passport agencies.

  • What about passport or travel visa photos?

    You still need to have passport photos taken, they will be sent to us via FedEx with the label we provide to you along with the rest of your documents. We recommend getting your passport photos done at CVS, Walgreens or any passport photo authorized location.

  • Can I go on a cruise without a passport and just my birth certificate?

    Federal law requires all citizens of the United States to have a passport prior to boarding a cruise ship. It also benefits you to have one if you plan to get off of the ship and make landfall as you would not be able to do so if you did not have a passport. Passport cards is a cheaper options but are only allowed for travel by sea or land to Canada, Mexico and a few Caribbean islands.

  • What is passport expediting?
  • I have a life or death emergency overseas and need a passport. What should I do?

    Although we are able to help process a certain number of passports each day within 7 hours, you would need to drop off and pick up your passport at one of our locations to obtain it the same day. If not, we use FedEx same day services which would add an extra day onto your order. Contact us immediately at 877-253-0084 for more details.

  • Why is your service fee much cheaper than the other companies I have found?

    Fast Passport Center is a registered and approved to expedite passports and visas at various passport agencies, embassies and consulates. In another words, there are no middlemen or hidden fees. With that said, we do have a very limited availability which normally fills up each day so make sure you place your order quickly. We often have customers call us one day for information only to wait a bit then return to find that spot they desired had already been filled by another client. Once you place an order, you are guaranteed that spot even if it is not for emergency travel.

  • How much does a U.S. passport cost?

    The cost of your U.S. passport depends on the type of passport you’re applying for and the processing speed you select. Our service fee (as shown on the website) is in addition to the required government fees.Government fees vary by application type:For most adult applications (such as renewals, first-time passports, replacements for lost or damaged passports), a standard fee applies.

    Child passports (for applicants under 16) generally have a different fee structure.

    Name changes may qualify for a reduced fee if the passport was issued less than one year ago; otherwise, a full renewal application is required to update the name.Exact government fees can change, so we recommend checking the official U.S. Department of State website for the most current amounts.

  • How much does a travel visa cost?

    It depends on the country you are planning to visit. Each country has a different consular fee. Please visit the Travel Visa section and choose the country you wish to visit.

  • Who should maintain a valid U.S. passport?

    Passport Services recommends that the following U.S. citizens maintain valid U.S. passports. Those:

    • with family living or traveling abroad
    • thinking about a vacation abroad, or
    • with a job that could require international travel.

    In the event of an emergency involving a family member abroad, a short-notice airfare bargain, or an unexpected business trip, already having a valid U.S. passport will save time, money and stress.

  • I need a passport however, I lost my naturalization certificate but I have a copy of it, what do I do?

    You will need to contact the Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) to get a replacement. The Passport Agency requires all passport applicants to send in original documents to show proof of citizenship. Please take note that the replacement process can take a few weeks.

  • Why can’t I just send my new passport application without having to visit an acceptance agent?

    All new passport applicants are required by the Passport Agency to have each person and their documents executed (verified, stamped and sealed) by an authorized passport acceptance Agency. As well as have the acceptance agent witness the signing of the government processing application. Acceptance Agents are normally located at most Post Offices, courthouses or other government buildings. We will locate a facility for you when you sign up which does not require an appointment.
