About the Miller Family Foundation
Founded by Reuben S. Miller, the Miller Family Foundation is a Georgia-based nonprofit organization committed to advancing equity through education, mentorship, and opportunity. We serve disadvantaged and underrepresented youth, with a special focus on students pursuing STEM, mechanical trades, and career-readiness pathways.
Whether it’s college-bound seniors or students entering the trades, our foundation exists to plant the seeds of possibility—by providing not just financial support, but also guidance, exposure, and long-term encouragement.
Purpose
Many capable students are sidelined by financial barriers or lack of guidance. We believe a student’s zip code or household income should not determine their future. Through the Miller Family Foundation, we’re bridging opportunity gaps and cultivating a generation of doers, builders, and changemakers.
Mission & Vision
We award S.E.E.D. Scholarships to help students begin their journey—whether to a university, a trade school, or a certification program. These scholarships are designed to serve as “seed money” that unlocks doors to education and empowerment.
We connect youth with industry professionals who offer real-world insight, personal coaching, and career direction—particularly in fields like engineering, healthcare, IT, and mechanical trades.
We partner with schoolZion Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, GAs, churches, and grassroots organizations like New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Macon, GA to reach students where they are and ensure our programs remain rooted in real community needs.
We invite donors, mentors, and educational partners to join us in creating a pipeline of support for the next generation.
