The key outcomes, including detailed Engineering Reports, overview presentations, and videos, are freely available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ogc.org\/projects\/initiatives\/t17\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Testbed-17 webpage<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Testbed-17 conducted Research &amp; Development (R&amp;D) across the following cutting-edge geospatial technologies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li role=\"presentation\">Model-Driven Standards<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">COG &amp; Zarr: Specification &amp; Evaluation<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">Geo Data Cubes<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">Sensor Integration<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">Moving Features from Full Motion Imagery<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">OGC API \u2013 Aviation<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">Data-Centric Security<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">OpenAPI: Lowering the Entry Hurdle for Developers<\/li>\n<li role=\"presentation\">Compliance, Testing &amp; Evaluation, CITE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each of these produced an Engineering Report outlining the findings of the year-long research and development conducted by the Participants. In total, Participants developed sixteen&nbsp;Engineering Reports, which are now published and freely available to the public.<\/p>\n<p>OGC Testbed-17 was sponsored by OGC Strategic Members <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">European Space Agency (ESA)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrcan.gc.ca\/home\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Natural Resources Canada (NRCan)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/air_traffic\/technology\/swim\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) System Wide Information Management (SWIM) Program<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)<\/a>, Principal Member <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/defence-science-and-technology-laboratory\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl)<\/a>, and others. OGC is grateful for these OGC Members&apos; industry leadership as displayed by their sponsorship of this OGC Innovation Initiative.<\/p>\n<p>As the largest R&amp;D Initiatives conducted by OGC, Testbeds exist at the cutting edge of technology, actively exploring and evaluating future geospatial technologies to solve today&apos;s problems. The solutions developed in Testbeds eventually move into the OGC Standards Program, where they are reviewed, revised, and potentially approved as new international open standards that can reach millions of individuals.<\/p>\n<p>OGC Testbeds are conducted under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ogc.org\/ogc\/programs\/ip\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">OGC&apos;s Innovation Program<\/a>, a collaborative, agile, and hands-on prototyping and engineering environment where sponsors and OGC members come together to address location interoperability challenges while validating international open standards.
